  I don't know if John and company at JDH are incompetent or corrupt, but either way it's not good. I wanted products that are made in the USA so engaged this butcher and paid a premium for 40 odd tables and 15 odd booths. All said and done, the invoice was $20,000 plus tax. Comparable Chinese product was well under $8,000. But we still went with an American producer to keep the business in the US.
  
  John sent me to a Henry's Restaurant in the Plano area and assured me he built their furniture. I looked under the chair and noticed it was made in Wisconsin. So he claimed that he made the tables. I believed him, which was a mistake. I asked him to build similar tables (mahogany brown) for me with matching booths.
  
  When the tables were ready John started blowing up my phone for the balance of funds. I went to inspect at his factory. Lo and behold, the tables were YELLOW. I confronted him and he assured me he would correct the problem. The tables arrived brown upon delivery. The delivery location was 6 hours away. John charged me almost $4k for delivery and installation. He sent his fully loaded truck to my location and practically had my crew do the unload and installation so his guys can get back to Dallas without spending the night there.
  
  Fast forward 2 weeks and the buttons on the booths are falling off. I started noticing water marks on the table that would not wipe off. I contacted John about the problems and he insisted his product was of a quality that I had paid for. Which meant to me that I paid for premium USA product and got garbage that this crook felt I was entitled to.
  
  Fast forward 6 months, a collection agency contacts me for money due for table bases. This thief apparently told his vendor I would pay for the base directly.
  
  Fast forward 1 year. Every, and I mean every single table is warping, splintering, cracking and chipping on its own. When I inspected what's under the chipped top, it's the same yellow varnish he applied that I made him change. This genius slapped on a different color varnish on top of poly urethane without prepping the board.
  
  Now, I could try and beg this thief to fix the problem. But can a scamming loser who produced this garbage come in and really fix this problem? I'll pass. I'd rather refurbish the entire establishment. Except this time, I'm buying with my head and not my heart.
  
  Congratulation JDH. You got away with raping a startup. You really should be ashamed of saying you're an American manufacturer.
